Time sometimes moves so fast that we celebrate a New Year one day and in a blink March Break arrives. This year most students will be off from March 11 to March 15th. Mississauga parents are already beginning to look for new and engaging ways to ensure that their kids are occupied, have a fun, and enjoy a happy break. Mississauga always offers a wide variety of March Break Camps loaded with the activities your kids will love. The camps run from 8am to 6pm so no need for before and after care plus camps are available on the second week of March Break where applicable. Alpha’s Discovery Club hosts March Break Camps, March 11-15 from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. The camps are ideal for ages 3-5 years or 6-9 years. There will be theme days (Jungle, Dinosaur, Princess-pirate, Wizard, Circus). Class size is limited to 10 children per camp leader. Prices are $20/half day or $30 /full day. Alpha’s will provide Academic Workshops, Drama Workshops, Arts and Crafts Workshops, Sports Workshops and Cooperative Games.

Bricks 4 Kidz – provides March Break Camps in two locations this year. With the popular slogan “We Learn, We Build, We Play……with LEGO® Bricks!” some kids will not be able to resist. Campers will build and design motorized models, construct and play with their own inspired creations AND participate in fun games and challenges. The camps are geared for boys and girls between ages of 5-13 years old. The Living Arts Centre provides a series of full day camps giving children from age 6 – 16 the opportunity to explore their talents in visual arts or performing arts. Ages 8-12: Dynamite Dance Basics – In this camp the basics of dance focusing on contemporary styles including hip hop and jazz will be covered. Campers will learn basic choreography and will develop their own choreographed dances.
Ages 9-13: DesignIt! – Campers will develop creative technical skills using a wide range of visual art techniques including drawing and illustration, printmaking, and model building in learning about 3D and 3D design
Ages 11-14: TV Techniques – Campers will learn the fundamentals of TV production through technical training in camera, lighting and sound, and the creative side of writing and acting by producing a TV program.
