Welcome to Fun Family Fridays!
We 
know that with all the hectic week we all have finding the time for family fun can be difficult so we have made it easy & taken all the work out for you.
We will feature fun things to do with your Mississauga Kids in and around our city that in most cases won’t break the bank and will help you discover more of what’s out there to do and explore.
I know the weather forecast calls for a rainy weekend see here for more details but there is so much going on that it is worth a trip out just grab some rain gear and go!
Mississauga Marathon
Its not just for serious runners. In addition to Full & Half Marathons the race also features shorter races, a Family Walk/Run and other Kid Friendly options.
If you don’t have time to train for this year’s race there will be lots of fun happening at the Finish Line for both Mississauga Kids & their parents. There will be face painting, Balloon Animals, vendors & other entertainment on Sunday May 15th from 10am-2pm. Sherway Gardens LEGO Store Grand Opening Weekend
If staying indoors is more your style, then get over to Sherway Gardens and helps a real LEGO Master Builder construct an 8-Foot tall Lego R2-D2 during the store’s grand opening celebration. Not only can your kids help create this LEGO masterpiece but they can win great prizes and participating kids will receive a free LEGO Star Wars certificate of achievement (while supplies last)
There will also be appearances by the Star Wars 501st legion throughout the weekend.

Leslie Log House Grand Opening – Saturday May 14th
Free Family Fun! You are invited to the Official Opening of Leslie Log House from 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. Come be a part of history when the heritage site is officially opened to the public. 4415 Mississauga Road, South of Eglinton. Take a step back in time and get a guided tour, see exhibits from the Streetsville Historical Society, do some fun kids crafts all with free refreshments!

Class productions Little Jack Horner

Class productions presents Little Jack Horner at the Clark Memorial Hall at 161 Lakeshore Rd.West. Tickets are available at the door for $15.
Performances are;
Thursday May 12 & Friday May 13 at 7:30pm
Saturday May 14 2pm and 7:30pm.
