There are many events planned in Mississauga for Family Day 2017! See below to find out where you and your family can go to enjoy a day filled with fun and entertainment. We will be adding more events as information becomes available!
Head over to Canlan Sportsplex to enjoy a day filled with fun for the whole family! There will be inflatable rides, slides, obstacle courses, fun food, a variety of sports activities, face painting, clowns, magicians, vendors and much, much more!
Head to Celebration Square this Family Day Monday February 20th from noon until 4pm for an afternoon of winter fun! Explore Canadian wilderness with Birds of Prey Demos, nature themed story-telling, face painting, and roaming “wild” animals. Don’t forget to bring your skates and hit the ice at Mississauga’s largest outdoor skating rink, and warm up with a perennial Canadian treat, Beavertails. Grab your toques and tots and get ready for a full day of fun on Family Day at Mississauga Celebration Square, presented by RBC. Make time for family fun. Enjoy FREE swimming and skating on February 20th at your local recreation facility.
PLEASE NOTE: Regularly scheduled registered and drop in programs will not be available on Family Day.
Wondering what to do on Family Day? Look no further! The Living Arts Centre will be hosting Family Day events in and outside the centre on February 20th 2017 – a day guaranteed to entertain parents and children alike! This year, the LAC has prepared a jam-packed day of crafts, performances, workshops and activities for the whole family to enjoy! Family Day festivities will occur from 11am until 3pm!
KidsFest returns to the International Centre (6900 Airport Road) in Mississauga from February 18th to 20th, 2017. Hours: Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday 10am-6pm; Monday 9am-6pm. The three-day show has something fun for every child 12 years old and under, from the slides and rides to educational and musical stage shows.
Admission: $25 kids’ all-day wristband (includes admission and rides); free for children 1 year and under; $8 adult (entrance fee); and $80 family pass with 2 plush prizes (includes 2 child and 2 adult admissions). Face painting, pony rides, petting zoo and carnival games are available at an additional cost. Parking is free.
From February 18th to the 20th, the International Centre will also be hosting the GTA Home and Reno Show and the Spring Fishing and Boat Show. Click here for more information on those events.
